When we talk about graphics, we talk about ecovers, cd-covers, website headers, website footers, etc…

For most of these you will need a professional application, such as Photoshop. And if you want your graphics to look really professional it will take some work and skills.However, there are action files available on the internet to make 3D graphics of ecovers and cd’s, but you’ll have to pay for them. Of course it is worth the investment when you create a lot of websites. Photoshop actions automate the process to make a 2D graphic look like a 3D graphic. In addition there are reflections and shadows added to give the graphics a more realistic look.

A header is a 2-dimensional graphic and can be created easily with a FREE program called:

The Gimp

Some call ‘The Gimp’ the ‘Free Photoshop’. It is a good application and you can do lots of things similar to Photoshop. It is possible to make a header quickly and I’ll show you this in a video.

Have you ever thought of making your own website?

It sounds a bit complicated, but actually creating websites is possible for everybody. Some people want you to believe that a website must look very professional or ‘flashy’.

In fact those good looking websites take a lot of time to load and that is a big disadvantage, because most visitors don’t have the patience to wait for a website that needs minutes to load. They want it ‘right now’ or they leave to another place.

Do you know what is the most important part of a website?

That is the information you have to offer to the visitors. Yes, really, people look for information. People look for solutions to solve problems, or they look for pleasure, such as :

music, games, videos, etc…

As long as you know what the visitors to your website want, they will stay longer and even interact with you, if possible.

How is it done?

Well, there are different ways to create websites. There are also different languages, or codes in which websites are created. A few are HTML, PHP, …

Most websites are coded in HTML. But there’s a way around the coding part that makes things much easier and that is the use of WYSIWYG-editors.

With this kind of application you don’t need to see any code. You simply write text, add links to other websites or to other places on your own website. You can also add images, add videos or an audio player.

I know this sounds promising, but it all depends on what amount of money you really expect to earn. Nowadays some people are making a 8-figure income from the internet. These so-called ‘gurus’ are just a happy few. However, I happen to know quite a few making a 5-figure income from internet-marketing.

But, how do they manage to make that kind of money?

I don’t want you to start dreaming of that Ferrari or that Porsche right away. Or maybe a huge mansion in Beverly Hills. Because that’s exactly what some people want you to believe. That their products will make you rich overnight, just by clicking some buttons on your computer keyboard. Nothing is further from the truth. Whatever they did, they worked very hard to earn that kind of money.

Basically, what these people do is set up a website to offer solutions for certain problems, and sell those solutions for money. They send traffic to their websites: they buy advertisements or they optimize their website to rank high in the search engines.

Ranking high on the first page in the search engines is hard, because after all there are millions of websites competing with each other. Optimizing your website for the search-engines is called SEO. In fact, SEO has become a multi-million dollar industry and as you can probably guess, some people are making millions from teaching others how to optimize there websites for SEO.

The above are just a few examples. Money can be made from the internet in so many ways that often new webmasters and internet-marketers get confused about all the money making opportunities. They buy all the courses and end up losing thousands of dollars, without making a considerable amount of money.

There are a few honest ways to make money online and add a few hundred dollars to your bankaccount every month.
Some of these are Article marketing, publishing Adsense websites, web design, graphic design, copy writing, etc…

Yep! That’s where I live. Although there are more rainy days than sunny days I still  love it here. My country is green, very green and that’s what I like about it.

Here in in Belgium everything is within reach. It’s a tiny little country, but you’ll find every kind of landscape here; from plain to mountain, all within the reach of 300 kilometres.

Belgium is divided in 3 territories, because there are 3 languages:
Dutch, French and German

One would think that we belgians all speak 3 different languages. Well that’s not the case.

Although most of the people here speak at least 2 languages fluently, there are still people struggling to learn the other languages. Or some don’t even care because they don’t need the languages for their jobs.

It’s kind of complicated, because we, ‘the Flemish’, tend to learn easier than the people from ‘La Wallonie’. That is because we Flemish have always been influenced by other cultures throughout the history. The ‘German’ area is just a small one. It is located near the German border. Most of ‘us’ don’t speak German. Only a tiny fraction of the Belgian population speaks German.

Many people visit Belgium because there’s so much to see. Especially the Medieval cities all over the country are definitely worth a visit.
