I’m involved in Internet Marketing since 2 years and a half now. I started looking for a supplementary income.
As many others I discovered that there were opportunities to earn from the Internet in many ways. In fact, there are many ways to earn a living on line, but for those who start out testing the on line waters it’s a bit difficult to know what direction to choose. It’s like touching like a blind man in the dark. There’s been many times that I compared the new people with blind men hearing voices coming from all directions, but don’t know who’s voices to listen to.
All the voices come from people who claim that they offer the solutions to earn a lot of money from the Internet, easily…
Except, they can not deliver to their promises, because there is no easy way to earn a lot of money from the Internet.
It ALWAYS takes a lot of dedication and hard work to succeed in earning a lot of money from the Internet.
They are the ones trying to sell the shovels to dig for the on line gold. And that’s where I want to get with my title.
You can in fact compare what happens on line nowadays compare with what is written in the history books about:
The Gold Rush
At that time people who were not satisfied with their lives. Who had bad luck on the land they owned, who had no jobs, etc…they all heard about a new opportunity. They heard a few stories about people having had the luck to find a few nuggets of gold, enough to make them rich. Only, it wasn’t easy… and only a few had luck to find the gold.
And people always listened from were the ‘hooray’ sounds came and they went there in herds to dig for the gold.
BUT, there were thousands of gold diggers, ….and they worked hard…but didn’t all succeed. And to be quite honest, the ones who really made a good living from the Gold Rush were the ones who sold the shovels or owned the stores where people payed big money to buy groceries and food. They payed big money for the tools they needed to dig for the gold.
Do you see any similarity?
The same happens today. I don’t know about you, but I’ve heard voices from people who claim they can make me rich by buying their software and reports. Most of them costing between $27 up to $147 or even more…
It’s really all the same. There’s always someone who says they have discovered the next ’secret’ to make you rich the same way they became ‘rich’. Only, you don’t really know if they are telling lies or not. One thing is for sure, they’re after the money! (They sell you the shovels for Big money)
What I’m trying to tell you is that you really have to be carefull whom you learn from. I can give you one good tip and that is:
The first thing you have to learn before everything else are THE BASICS OF INTERNET MARKETING.
Don’t try to walk before you can crawl. You will probably laugh with this statement, but many people do this.
They dive into an on line opportunity without knowing where they are heading to. They buy reports from Clickbank or forums or memberships for big money, but don’t really know how it fits in a good on line marketing plan.
It’s like gathering the pieces of a puzzle here and there and trying to find out how to finish the puzzle that shows the secret map to the treasure. A good learning resource provides the whole picture. It shows you everything from the start to the success. Of course, many people don’t have the patience to learn first and apply later. They prefer to listen to the ones who tell them that it is much easier than it sounds and to the ones that it all can happen fast and without efforts.
In most cases the end result is that those who are in a hurry chasing the on line gold end up with an empty wallet and the ones who sell the shovels become rich.
But, let me give you another good tip:
There are no bad students, however there are bad teachers.
Well, not all of them are bad. Some people have learned the hard way and have succeeded on line. They know the basics of Internet Marketing and apply them in every step of their marketing campaigns. They don’t gamble or try to rush into thing. No, they take the time to do everything that is needed to have success on line marketing campaigns that make them money. A lot of money.
