Waarom?

1. Lokale handelaars hebben veel kans om hun zaak te promoten via het internet via organische zoekresultaten in Google.

2. Er is de ‘Local Business Directory’ in Google die lokale handelaars in staat stelt hun zaak vindbaar te maken via Google maps en de zoekresultaten in de gewone zoekmachine.

3. Er  is weinig of zelfs geen concurrentie voor zoektermen met geografische plaatsnamen erin, zoals bijvoorbeeld SEO software te koop in Beernem

Google hanteert bepaalde strafmaatregels, zoals  de ‘Google Sandbox’. Deze wordt vooral toegepast op nieuwe websites.

Voordat Google een website indexeert wortdt ook nagegaan of deze regelmatig ge-update wordt met nieuwe, waardevolle inhoud. Dit laatste wordt vooral vanuit het standpunt van de bezoeker gezien.

Google wil trouwens de beste zoekmachine blijven en doet dit door zo snel mogelijk relevante zoekresultaten weer te geven aan de zoeker. Maar deze zoekresultaten zijn bij voorkeur ook uniek en geen kopie van bestaande websites.

Is een bepaalde zoekterm (zoals ons voorbeeld) nog niet vindbaar in de Google ‘database’ dan zal Google deze met veel plezier weergeven als het eerste zoekresultaat, wanneer iemand zoekt op de term: SEO software te koop in Beernem

Ik heb deze post getypt rond 20u20 gisteravond 04 november 2010 en ik heb nu al de 1e positie in de Google zoekresultaten. Dit bewijst mijn stelling dat het gebruik van geografische namen je zoekwoord zo uniek kan maken dat je concurrentie wegvalt en dat je gemakkelijker de eerste plaats kunt behalen in de zoekresultaten van de Google zoekmachine. Een gelijkaardige zoekterm zou mij misschien weken of maanden en veel moeite kunnen kosten zonder geografische namen.

Ik heb enkele dagen geleden (het is nu 20 december 2010) de zoekterm veranderd naar SEO software te koop in Beernem en mijn blog staat als 2e in de zoekresultaten na de zoekterm die ik voorheen gebruikt had. Dit is niet alleen het geval voor de exacte zoekterm. De zoekterm ‘SEO software te koop’ maakt ook dat mijn blog als 1e in de zoekresultaten weergegeven wordt. Helemaal niet moeilijk…

You can either do it manually or with the help of a RSS feed submission software. You only have do to it once for a specific blog or website. After that the feed will be updated automatically whenever you change something to your blog.

I did this for the majority of my blogs. Only, I thought I didn’t get results fast enough, so I purchased a plugin that submits a new RSS feed to a number of aggregators, everytime you add a new post. I’m currently adding new content and, most important, original content. And now slowly but surely my blogs start showing better rankings in the SERP’s.

RSS Submission Software
